Cookie Policy
Last updated
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies devdeer.tech uses, what each does, and how to control them.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage and device tokens — work in comparable ways. We use them sparingly and describe each category below.
2. Strictly necessary
These are required for the site and dashboard to work and cannot be switched off. They
include our session cookies — ddt_client, ddt_team and
ddt_admin — which keep you signed in to the relevant dashboard, and security
tokens that protect forms. Basis: necessary for a service you request; no consent
required.
3. Analytics
We use ⟨Plausible / Google Analytics — name the actual tool⟩ to understand how the site is
used, in aggregate. ⟨If Plausible: this is cookieless and stores no personal identifiers. If
Google Analytics: it sets cookies such as _ga and we load it only after you
accept analytics cookies.⟩
4. Functional / notifications
If you enable browser push notifications, we store a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token so we can deliver the notifications you asked for. You can revoke this at any time in your browser's site settings or from your dashboard.
5. Newsletter
Subscribing does not require a cookie. We record your confirmed opt-in on the server, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
6. Managing cookies
⟨If you show a consent banner, describe it here and how to change a choice.⟩ You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the dashboard working.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date reflects the current version.
